California Western States trail / Devils Thumb / Trail 6 ..... Are they all open and rideable?

Thinking about a last minute ride tomorrow. Last time I rode trail 6 there was a section that was closed at Devils Thumb.....is it open now without any detours? It's been about a year since I've been up there. There was some serious logging going on at that time that was blocking WS entrance.....did all those trails get burnt up in the fire?

We rode trail 6 clockwise and then down Devil's Thumb after the fire in July 2014 with no issues. Haven't been there since.

I think It was last September when I was there and it was smokey as hell. The place was torn up at that time. Was after your trip sounds like.

We rode 50 miles between trail 6 and the WST. There was only a few miles of trail that was significantly damaged.....but still fun. Only saw a handful of riders all day. Was awesome!!

Western states is open. Trail six is open we rode it Friday. I not sure about the section from dead wood road to devils thumb? We rode it but it didn't seem like it should of been open? There wasn't any signs saying it was closed but there is a lot of work that should be done to this section before a lot of riders ride it.

Rode it about a month ago and just note that there is alot of poison oak grown over on trail 6.  I don't usually get it but got it bad and still have scars from it 4 weeks later,
