Should my stock chain work if I added a 51 sprocket to the rear? This is my first time with a project like this, everything went smooth but even with the axel all the way forward I can't get the master link back together?? 2009 yz450

Sounds like no? You want your chain to be in spec.

It looks like the original owner took a couple links out of the chain.  I only count 112 including the master link.  Looks like I will need to get a new chain on the way.

The stock 114 would have worked.

I appreciate the feedback so now I have to order a 114 or a 116.  Any takes on which will work better with the 13/51?
