Hey there, ive got a buddy who bought an 09 yz450f but its way undersprung for him. i want to return the bike to original spring rates and found a guy selling complete stock springs (front and rear) for a 2010 YZ450f im not sure if these will work in the 09. OEM part numbers are different but spring websites spec the same springs for both years. i was wondering if anyone can confirm whether i can use the 2010 springs in an 09?

thanks for any info

Mike

They won't fit.  The length was changed in '10.
