I'm still on the fence between the 250fx and a yz450 and a 250f. I sold my 09 yz450 that I typically rode in single track and sometimes the desert. I loved the 450 as I had a Rekluse, all the guards, oring chain, tubliss, Evans coolant, 04 cdi and a Dr D pipe. I just backed out the forks compression for my 190lb body and it worked awesome. I wanted an even a lighter weight bike and was set on a yz250f until the fx came out. I have had 250 2 strokes, KTM 300 and Wr450 in the past. My dilemma is that a yz450 and 250fx are real close to weight. My question is has anyone ridden a 250fx, yz450 and 250f to compare?

Though the two bikes may have the same mass, or close to it, the "feel" of the weight can be totally different. Are you a racer doing 100 or multi hour events or do you take breaks every 15 minutes? If the latter I'd get a 450 again.
