Trying to reinstall my stock AP cover and I can't remember how the check valve went there is a lil ball a spring and a plug. How do u reinstall this

That appears to be the inlet check ball, which should be inserted from the bottom of the bowl, ball first, then spring, then the plug.  The bowl should bear witness marks to this effect.  The point where the ball sits should appear to be a conical seating surface, and there should be some marks where the corners of the plug wedged into place.
