Any advice about how I could fix a too tight clutch cable, in hard left turn?

It takes all the slack out of the cable, and pulls the clutch "in" slightly, at max left turn.

At straight ahead "neutral", there is about an inch of free play movement at the "mid-lever to handlebar" measurement posiition. That is, it feels like alot of free play...

Thanks.

Hum are you using taller bars. Check your shop manual for cable routing.

I was able to just move the mounting perch in a little to take care of it.

Yeah, I did forget to mention this: I have a (10mm?) bar riser added, plus a scotts damper with the rubber mounts.

OK, thanks.  I eyeballed it with no tank removed. I was not sure if I could ignore the OEM routing. I'll try re-routing, and ignore the OEM route.
