big fin head mod

the top 2 pics are ones I stole from the net to show the big fin concept in detail,,,I plan to do my xr630r this way as I just like the look....I added an oil cooler shown in pic 3 without its stone guard...drops the oil tempy by average 20-30 deg C across the cooler and is a great mod to do.

this image (aslo stolen from somewhere) shows how to do it. assumes you use an xr400 type cooler but I chose one from "earls performance plumbing" and mounts forward of the lights etc using flexi swivels and hose rather than on the steering head...

Very nice work on that head and the bracing is cool too.
