I INSTALLED A 10OZS FLYWHEEL WEIGHT ( THE TERRY CABLES ONE) ON MY 2000 YZ426, I CHECKED IT ONCE AFTER THE FIRST RIDE AND ALL THE BOLTS WAS OK, AND EVERYTHING SEEMED GOOD TO ME. THE INSTRUCTIONS SAID THAT I MUST CHECK IT AFTER EVERY RACE/RIDE.....
DO I REALY NEED TO DO IT?

If you put Red Loctite on it and rattled it down or torqued it to spec it should be fine. I rattled mine down with red over a year ago and its perfect.

I used Loctite on mine and checked it after the first ride and never looked at again till I took it off 1 1/2 years later, it was still tight as a drum.
