How different is the handling of the 14-15 yz450f compared to the 2007

Are they somewhat comparable or are they totally differant handling wise?

Comparing apples to oranges. To a skilled rider anyways. Your average rider wont likely notice the difference in handling between years or even brands.

Radically different.  I've owned both and I thought the '06-'07 I had was the most ill-handling bike I've ever ridden.  I think my '14 is one of the best handling bikes I've ever ridden.

I had a 13 and now have a 14 and there's a big difference to me between those years.

I have had 3 hondas, 4 yamahas and a suzuki. Since '07 and not a single one handled like another But they were all very good handling except the '07 yz250f. If the 450 that year handled near as bad, you would be shocked at the improvement
