Looking on ebay for a swingarm for my '08 (chain slider wore a hole through the top of my existing swingarm), but I notice that the part numbers are different between 2006 and 2008.  I'm inclined to thing that the difference is due to something very minor and not the swingarm itself. Does anybody know if the '06 through '08 swingarms are interchangeable?

They're all interchangeable.  Same linkage, same axle, same swingarm spacing, etc.  I think MAYBE the chainguide tab pattern may have changed or something.

I think I have a couple swingarms for those bikes actually.  I'll look.

Not all, but those two are.  '06 - '08 were the same stuff.  '09 changed to a different linkage layout and a larger axle.

Yep, and substantially weaker chainguide tabs as I found out when I swapped it to a YZ250 and cleaned them off a couple times.
