Wyoming Laramie, WY riding areas

I have only been in the Laramie area for about 5 years and I still haven't really been able to ride much.  Anyone know of some good areas to get my feet wet and start riding again?

Pick up an OHV map from a bike shop. There is tons of area over by Woods landing heading towards Walden. Laramer river valley leads down to Honholz lakes, heading west from there is plenty of good systems. We do a bunch of riding by redfeather lakes, not too far from Laramie.

Look into the Northern trails. Some connect states.

I am looking into a ride for this weekend outside Laramie. Anyone want to join just let me know. I am riding dual sport.

What areas are you going to? I can't regardless but I would like to know trail conditions there. Heading out to San Diego for a little R&R

Just gonna follow sand creek rd towards the mountains and see how far I can go. I will let you know how it goes

There is awesome riding west of Laramie near Albany. We go on a camping trip every year to Cinnabar park which is a mile or so north of Rob Roy Reservoir. Be aware that you probably can't get there this time of year due to the snowpack. We always call the Alabny Lodge for the latest info. They have a restaurant, sell gas, rent dirtbikes, atvs, and snow machines . The trails are fun in the winter too if you like snowmobiles. There is a good single track near Cinnabar which is intense. Other than the single track it's not the most technical riding but there is ton of trails. It can get muddy in spots though!

I rode the Albany single track trail once last summer .... Its definatley intense. Better be good at jumping multiple large downed peices of timber at a time haha .... Yeah just the one 8 mile section of that kicked my ass pretty good ?
