Check plug? Maybe flooded?

Try increasing the idle speed a little, or simply holding the throttle very slightly open as you kick.

Which way do I turn to increase the idle speed?

Choke/whatever knob out to start with. Turn knob ccw to increase idle speed. If it's too far cw it wont fire up without some throttle.

Think I found part of the problem, plug looks pretty black. Didn't know four strokes get like this....

What's the best way to clean this, cleaner wise

from your screen name I would guess that you live somewhere near the ocean. Either way it looks like that thing has been exposed to a lot of salty air or water that caused a lot of corrosion. If I were you I would check all the other electrical connections and see if there's any corrosion in them.

No where near the ocean, I'm in atlanta. Looks like the bike was left out or something, she's dirty.

Anyways, tried cleaning the plug, didn't work. Then replaced it just now, started first kick, so were good to go.

Question though, why does the a plug foul on a new four stroke?

Also, my 2012 has brand new tires, one ride only. This bike needs tires. Debating on whether I should switch wheels, will they swap right over? Guess I need to decide if I want black rims and brand new tires, or silver and old tires...

They should swap or you can just putthe new tires on whatever rims you want. The black is likely because the guy never really opened her up.

Actually the rims wont swap. The '14 has bigger axles

Question though, why does the a plug foul on a new four stroke?

Most of the time, it's caused by starting the bike and shutting it off before it's had a chance to warm up.  The spark plug insulator is supposed to heat up to the point where it basically burns itself clean.  Don't run it for a good 10 minutes or so, and it won't get there.  Do that enough times and there's a soot that build up that is conductive.

Weak spark or very rich mixtures can also cause this, as, of course, can the wrong heat range plug.  The NGK CR8EIX iridium is what I recommend

I paid $7300 OTD for my 2014 here in SoCal. I could've picked up a 13' for $6300 OTD but wanted the changes that were on the 14'

Yes I did forget the forks but I updated my 14 for under 100 . The springs and valving are perfect for my weight and the dzus fasteners fall out anyway .

Dzus fasteners have been holding the cowl on my airplane down since 1965

Never had a Dzus let go of anything unless it wasn't snapped in right.
