Just wanted to know if anyone has removed the coolant overflow tank and what are the advantages or risks of not having it on.

I got rid of mine. I have a boyesen impeller and use engine ice. No problems what so ever. I've had minor boil over but thats it.

Mine has been off for about 600 miles and no probs. I run Water Wetter and even when its 105 F here in the summer, as long as I dont let it idle too long without moving its fine. The only boil over I have ever had was when the bike was brand new and I was still getting used to it out in the woods.
