Yz450 won't hot start

I have a 08 yz450 that cranks when cold but when hot it almost seems like it locks up. And then I kick and kick and kick but won't start till it get cooled off? Help!!!!! Please

Verify that your hot start cable is functioning and that the plunger is not seized. Your fuel/air mixture could be off.

Would that cause it to kill out also?

Check your valve clearances. I would almost bet that your intake is out of wack. This will cause difficult hot starting.

All you would have to do is reshim the valve that is out of adjustment. Not to difficult to do but if you not comfortable I think it costs around $150-200 to have a shop do it. If you do it your self get a hotcams shim kit $70 and your set.
