2010 250r.. uhh.. missing oil?

so i just did an oil change on my bike, and when i drained the transmission, not even 4oz. came out.. i specifically remember putting in 22oz. not even 10 engine hours ago... the bike does not leak, nor burn oil. also, 23oz. came out of the engine side, thats what i put in. so i can eliminate the crank seals as suspect. anyone have any ideas?

Always change tranny oil on a hot engine. Or else the oil is to thick to run out of the hole. Did u try that?

no i didnt, but i let it drain for more than 10 minutes while slightly laying the bike to either side and straight up and down. and it stopped dripping completely. the last oil change it was fine and came out just as fast as the engine oil
