Washington Last chance poker run near Vantage

Iam going over from the west side to ride the poker run Sat and ride Mattawa Sunday. If anyone wants to ride along send me a PM.

Went to the one in March, good times!  Did pretty much exactly that.  Was a good trip.

 

Won't be spending 2 days this time because no one will be home to watch the pups

This does sound much better then a Halloween party but I don't see any details on total mileage or if sat and sun are different trails...Anyone have info on what the ride/loop is?

Saturday and Sunday are the same loop, ~20-25 miles IIRC from March, and there are a couple of "hard way" loops for extra mileage that I don't know about because the guys I rode with last time were having trouble with the sand--one on a KLR, and one new dirt rider, both on street-ish tires.

It is sand, whoops and turns all at the same time. Imagine going around a corner while going up in the air only to land in deep sand. Koorbloh has it right, about 20-25 mile loops with some easy and more difficult loops to choose from.

We went to the first one early this year and I swore I wouldn't come back. That was before my season of racing the NMA series...   We are going back to ride it tomorrow.

Same. It was much better this time after the rains--i had traction. I rode better, harder, and faster than I ever have, had a blast, and I'm paying for it today. Ran out of conditioning before I ran out of skill, which is a new thing for me, lol.

I went with a group of friends and had a blast. First lap I ate it hard but went out for a second lap. Made half a lap before two in my group ended up with flat tires. One of them I brought so I went back the short way with them. I am sore from muscle soreness but also a bruised bicep and ribs. All worth it though.
