So I just picked up a 1999 yz400 and love the bike, once you learn the starting procedure it's cake.

Anyways there are people near me that are parting out 2002 yz250f bikes and I want a smaller gas tank. I have a 3.4 gallon Clark tank which is nice for when i go trail riding but I had to shave the seat down and that makes the gas tank look bigger. When i go trail riding I usually only go about 6 miles at a time, maybe more. Are these bikes really thirsty? I'm a pretty middle paced rider, nothing aggressive, no rev limiter, etc. so I think as long as I filled up before I left the stock tank would do me good. Or should I just stick with the Clark tank. Thanks!

No problem. I'm sure a mod will move it eventually. Maybe some nice guys will still try to help you out here.

Hahahaha no not Australian but that's mainly the reason it's in the wrong sub anyways lol. I tried everything, flipped the original pictures and posted them, then posted the originals and same outcome. No idea why that's happening
