Considering building an 18" wheel comprising: stock 2014 YZ450 rear hub, Excel Taksago rear rim 18" x 2.15 and stainless spokes.

I was considering this Outlaw Racing spokes kit and wondering if you think that the WR spoke set will fit and if they're good value in general.

Part OR2687 http://pitposse.com/ouraststspse.html

The spokes are listed as stainless and also chrome plated. Do you think these will retain their shine over time? Chrome plating over stainless seems pointless to me. I wonder if you're just regular plated spokes (similar to OEM)?

Other thoughts?

The WR spoke set will fit exactly.  No info on the Outlaw stuff.
