How are your valves holding up on the new yz's?

should not be any different than older models. Yamahas flat out rip! My 07 is pushing 300 hours, my buddy just did his 06 with almost 500 hrs!!!

No one has had a '14 long enough to wear out the valves yet, so I don't think you'll get an immediate answer.

 

Yamaha knows something about making Ti valves last.  When I did the top end in my '06, I spotted a little more wear on the center intake than I wanted to put back in the engine, so I did that one and left the rest.  300+ hours.
