Where to send for valve seats to be cut?

My 450's intakes have been moving and i adjusted them twice and they keep tightening and almost zero'd out. It needs valves and probably the seats cut. 

 

Where do you guys send your head for them to be cut?

On ebay there are several companies present doing head jobs, unfortunately you are in the wrong section here on the yz 2 smoker forum.

Check with your nearest big Yamaha dealer to see who they send heads to locally.  Almost all of them will have a good local machinist on tap.  If you want to send out to a big specialty shop, in addition to Fast Heads, there is Millennium Technologies not far from you, and Engine Dynamics on the West Coast.

 

In the future, or for anyone else reading, don't use a valve beyond the point of having to reduce the shim size by two steps (-.10mm) from the original shim.  Going beyond that and riding it hard is straight up playing with fire.

haven't had to cut the valve seats on  my bike in 10 years

I had my 426 worked on by Millenium Technologies, and my experience was positive.  I sent the upper-end in, expecting and asking to have seats cut, valve guide(s) replaced, along with new valve stem seals.  I sent all the parts necessary for this and they very quickly called me, gave me the lowdown on what the head actually needed.  They didn't do the seats or valve guides because of their inspection findings.  It would have been super easy to say the head needed things it didn't, do the work and charge me more, I would would have paid, no questions asked.  All they did was a "valve job" and new guide seals.  I'd use them again.
