Can't adjust MCCT

I cannot hear the difference as the engine sounds rediculously horrible and noisy. I cannot hear the difference between a good adjustment nor a bad adjustment how do I go about doing this properly. No youtube videos have helped.

Take the top cover off the motor so you can see the cams and cam chain.  Adjust the cam chain tension to take the slack out to the rear run as you turn the motor forward and the cams start to open the EX valves.  Turn the motor over several times to assure all the slop is out of the chain.

Pull the spark plug so it doesnt fire and turns over easier while making/checking the adjustment. Do not over tighten the MCCT as you adjust it. Like Noble sez just until the slop/slack is gone.

Make sure the idle is set right too , if it's too low it makes it difficult .
