2001 Suzuki DRZ400 Information

Hello fellow riders I am hoping some one can help me out. I am looking to get a 2001 Suzuki DRZ400 (Kicker model) which looks to be in excellent shape.

 

Has any one here ever rode one before and have any information they can share with me? I am primarily looking for the bike as a secondary bike to ride in the woods.

I've ridden a DRZ several times, it's akin to the XR line of Honda. The DRZ is a good trail bike for toodling around, but if you wanna ride trails aggressively you'd be happier with a race bike: any 450F, or KTM two stroke.

Don't say where its at, somebody will snatch it. That model has the latest suspension, the FCR carb, which people spend hundreds on s models to make similar. But expect carburetor issues, on a 13 year old bike that looks good, because it probably sat a lot. But if its stock and not monkeyed with, and you like it, I see nothing negative.

They are wonderful bikes. Solid and stone reliable, but enough performance to entertain.  Great find!  ?

Asking price is $1,800 and pics posted in ad are attached. Going to look at the bike in person today.
