are the 13-14 yz450f the same or are theye a lot different.

Their different, 10-13 are the same

The '14 changed the frame, the head, ECU and cams are all different.  The '10-'13 makes about 51-52 HP, the '14, a whopping 57+.

I heard 10-13 made 55.  But wow thats alot of power for a 14.

I would like for people to jump on post dos and donts on the yz450fs.

Does = riding it and loving it
Donts = listing to other peoples ideas on what to change before u do the above !!!!!!

^^ That is funny.
I haven't changed anything on my bike except the oil and rear shock spring.

I would at least set it up for your size and weight. Adjust the bars, controls etc.

Ride it a little but then take the time to tune the suspension as it make an enormous difference.

well I got a 14 sat. and they're very different as posted above it needs to be set up for your weight I'm heavy dude. it seems like it is more sensitive to body position mine likes you all the way up and it handles good. It has power but you can tell its corked up needs at least a slipon.
