I suppose you could, but that would DEFINITELY NOT be worth the hassle.:-o

 

there's not much performance difference between the two, accept for not having to re-jet for altitude and weather conditions.

 

If that's what you're looking for (no more messing with jetting) you could buy one of those "smart carbs" by Lektron or other makers, OR just by a FI bike.

Sure.  Buy about $2500 worth of electronics and other hardware and you can import the fuel system from a '12 WR450, or from a later YFZ450R quad.  Screw with it for half a year, no problem.
