I'll just be getting the slip on do you think the header makes that big of a difference? And how does it sound? Loud n burley?:D

. I forgot to tell you when tested the fmf just edged out the doctor d so the performance I bet are about the same I was surprised when I fired the bike up how quiete it is because the 4.1 on my Rmz is loud as heck I believe the resonance chamber helps with noise big time.

I've used the Yosh, FMF and DRD systems to date and like the Yosh system the best overall. Make sure and pull out the quiet insert as it makes a big difference power-wise. Didn't notice much in the way of added sound but it's new so we'll see after the silencer breaks-in. Also, it's the cheapest system with deals between $500 (ebay) and $550 (RMATV) out there.

The DRD was OK but the silencer looks cheap (e.g. small decals, canister looks like something from a Chinese bike) compared to the others and did melt my boot as mentioned above. The old-school squared-off canister also blocks the rear fender bolts so you have to remove the silencer to change your fender.

FMF was fine, didn't notice too big a change from stock. System looks good on the bike and it held up well. Didn't really like the clip system for the exhaust side number plate but its a small gripe.

Check MXA for fuel map suggestions for aftermarket pipes. I used one of theirs and it worked out well.

I have the two full systems (FMF and DRD) that are in relatively good condition (no dents) that I will donate to anyone that wants to try them before dropping $700 for shipping costs and a small handling fee.

Does anyone sell replacement heat shields for these pipes? I can't believe Lightspeed or other doesn't make a replacement for the stock shields.

Mate was just wondering if you still had these and would be able to send these to me I would be happy to pay all the costs just wanted to try them before I go dropping $1000+ on a pipe

Sorry, they are gone.  I may have a Yosh system available in a couple weeks so I will check back with you.

What made you choose the yosh over the other two? I know you said that the dr. d looked cheap but what about the FMF. I am on the fence over the Yosh or the FMF. Honestly leaning more towards the yoshimura just for the simple fact of the cost and they seem pretty comparable.

I just fitted a FULL DR D NS 4 after using a full yoshi for 6 months on my YZ 450 2014

Didnt like the yoshi with the silencer insert, removed that & was way better sounding & power. Is however very abrupt of the bottom, too abrupt in fact mainly out of corners, (stock maps). Also think the yoshi build quality was poor. Where the first join is from the engine, vibrates to the point ive had to re weld the little lug that holds the join in place. Both joins dont seal properly even aft sealing them the hi temp gasket cement, TI syst. After about 30 hrs

Someone PLS  tell me you can remove the silver DR D silencer, (already removed spark arrestor) & how ?

First ride with the silencer in, thought was worse than stock. Felt all chocked up & like it added no benefit !

You'll probably have to remap for the NS 4. Contact Dubach for their maps and you can ask about the insert. They have always been very helpful when I have called.
