Hey guys I'm having troubles finding springs for my 2012 WR450 but it's easy to find YZ ones. I heard they are now using the same forks which makes me think it should work....

I need the forks much stiffer so I was think about trying 0.50 KG springs.

I went to yamahapart.com but you can go anywhere that sells genuine yamaha parts.  There's spring part numbers in the "alternate for chassis" section.  If you search for a part number and click on "where used" it lists a bunch of bikes.

You are going to need to purchase from someone so why not give one of the suspension shops a call. They usually will have what you want for springs, its part of their business. Call Pro Circuit, RG3, RaceTech, Motion Pro or any of the other 30 or so out there I bet they will have what you need.

Am I missing something here? There may be compatible with each other but you don't list the WR450 here.
I believe these are the dimensions of the springs on the 2 different bikes. Got them off the Racetech website.
YZ450 43.6 x472mm
WR450 44.0. x 455mm

I think the yz450f got new forks in 2010.  There's probably lots of other springs that fit.  I'm no expert.
