Just in case any of you missed the insanely BIG deal on the other thread, this needs a thread of its own because it was such a big deal.
I dont know about the rest of you but I felt like I was one fortunate son of a biaaaatch to have witnessed what I did on thursday.
unimaginable bitcheness, beyond belief, sometimes it's really really good to be in Southern California, yesterday was one of those moments for me.

I talked to Todd Kelly today. He said Nicky Hayden was just pure sickness on a motorcycle. Huge dirt track style power slides(on pavement), mega long nose wheelies, and huge hacks with his knee on the ground! Per Todd the only guy close to the same pace was Wardy. He said Biaggi was still good, but not near the pleasure to watch compared to Nicky. I guess Nicky flew out today to start his season testing so those of us who missed it are hosed! Damn! Dauv- bro- for the love of GOD, get that video happening! :cheers:

Just outta curiosity, what leathers was Nicky wearing. Seen that he's obviously signed with Alpinestars since hes blasted all over their website now but was he wearing off the shelfers or something custom and nicky'd out?

Nicky was wearing his MotoGP-Repsol, Gas, Kentucky Kid leathers. Did'nt notice the brand.

Along with Team Scream, I work in the motion picture industry in hollywood, having worked side by side with the big names in hollywood. Cool, but no woody! After talking with Nickey Hayden and Eric Bostrom, Shootin' the [@#$%&!] with Max Biaggi, Hangin' with Mike Metzger, and being invited to Troy Lee's A-list open house party, I could'nt help but feel like a starstruck teenager. Full Wood!!

I'm lucky as hell to be "in the mix" in the SuperMoto community, thanks!! :excuseme:

Nicky had his new Alpinestars leathers on... although he did have a Joe Rocket gear bag. :(

I have some pics but my Yahoo photo hosting makes them small. Can someone host some bigger pictures? I'll send them to Dauv and see if he can post them here.

I have been home all day, not feeling great, feel like I am comming down with a cold or something, but I can tell you this, I did get up for a little bit a few times today to digitize some footage, Ryan and I had 2 cameras going full time, all day every session every lap and there is some stuff in here that will stand the test of time I am absolutely sure of it, never before have I seen such a thing in all my days.
You guys are going to be absolutley BLOWN AWAY.

I showed Nicky that shot on my camera screen and he really liked it and had me email it to him so that he can put it on his website.

If you want to see something really incredible, wait until you see some of Dauv's video. He showed me several clips that were awesome. In one shot Nicky is riding a big rolling stoppie and you can see his foot shifting down through the gears while he's maintaining the perfectly balanced stoppie. :thumbsup:
