I had a chance to ride the new 450.  I was really impressed with the power of that bike.  My main ride is a YZ250 so it took some getting use to the four stroke but I have to admit I really like the 450.  That thing had loads of power and gear selection wasn't as crucial as it is with my 250 two smoker.

That bike doesn't need anymore power.  I don't think I've ever said that before.

Either way I wonder how many more ponies you would get with a aftermarket full exhaust system.

I've heard they are the slowest of the 450s out but who cares.  Unless your really bad ass I don't think it matters that much.  I hear they are pretty smooth and easy to ride.  I would be happy with a crf450.

It's nice a nice bike but I seriously think my 2 stroke yz250 is faster. My moto buddy was pulling me hard in 3rd gear and I was the same speed as him on my 06 yz450. It woul bog out trying to shift to 4th in the sand. It's pathetic really.

The current crf 450 is a dog the ktm 350 makes more power, the handling isnt that good and the air forks arent anywhere as good as the yamaha forks

The KTM 350 engine is pretty impressive.
