Current bike CRF450 2012, thinking of switching to Yamaha or Kawasaki.

Last YZF450 I rode was a used 2012 model, and I hitted lots of false neutrals.

Is the 2014 450 model easy to misshift or did I rode a worn bike?

Thanx for your response!

That's because you guys didn't hop off a Honda onto a YZ. This has been a common complaint by Honda riders switching to Yamaha. The YZ just requires a little more effort. Once you get used to it, they work fine, which is why long time YZ riders never know what the Honda guys are talking about.

But you should also be aware that the shift forks on the '14 have been significantly revised, and should be a lot slicker shifting than the older ones.
