anyone have experience in using an hotcams cam on the XR 650L with electric start only ?
there are problems for the start of the engine ?
I remeber to you that the installation of the hotcams need the elimination of the automatic decompressor, and the manual decompressor is not available on this bike..

thanks to all..

If you have the stock compression piston, you shouldnt have a problem starting it for two reasons. One, on our camshaft, the intake valve is open late enough on the compression stroke, that it bleeds compression at cranking speeds, and two, that motor only has around 8.3:1 compression ratio stock. I hope that helps, let me know if you have any other questions.

What happens if you go with a high compression piston?
