Im new to shim under bucket valves and am wondering where in the spec range I should set them. I checked them yesterday and found this.

Ex. Ex
.0075. .006

Int. Int. Int.
.004. .004. .006

Should I adjust to loose side of spec? Or somewhere in the middle?

Manual says .0079th - .0098 for exhaust. And .0039 - .0059 for intake. So on the exhaust they are tight.

I always shoot for the middle, I believe tighter is better than looser+ they usually tighten up

If you have a choice, go with tighter, as long as it's within specs.
