I have an 08 yz450f. I took the tank off and found that a wire was unplugged. It goes to a little black electrical box on top of the cr flat carb. Can somebody tell me what that is and why it was unplugged. Or maybe i unplugged it on accident. What the heck does it do?

sounds like the Throttle position sensor, they get unplugged sometimes to get better throttle response.I have mine unplugged also, with it plugged in at steady throttle the bike would run funny but unplugged it worked fine.
