Head is starting to strip/round on mine since you can't get a socket in that dreamy location they thought of for the bottom drain bolt. Want to change it on next oil change but with one of those magnetic plug dealies.

Anyone know the OEM size/spec of the bolt so I can make sure I get the right replacement? It does not appear in my manual.

Thanks in advance!

I believe its a  M10-1.25

there is no reason the head of the bolt should round off, use the box end of the 12 mm wrench. Its very rare that I use the open end for any kind of wrenching
