2014 Gas Cap Cover

This sounds pretty stupid but I can't get the gas cap cover off. 


Whats the secret technique?

There is no secret technique, you just need to pull on both sides at the same time. The cover is held in place by plastic pins into rubber grommets so pull hard.

Its sucks, exspecially when its below zero out lol. Pull hard!

Can't imagine doing anything in that kind of cold. Had to pull really hard even at a chilly 70 degrees here in so-cal :cool:  


A little vaseline is definitely in order for those grommets.

Pull up and towards the rear. It gets easier once broken in awhile.

I'm glad they are making these very tight, I wouldn't want it coming off while racing.
