XR650L brake upgrade

Hello all a while back I saw a bolt on upgrade for the front brake on my XR650L. It was not one of those killer race setups you super fast racer dudes use. Rather it was a good upgrade. It was on a web site someone here linked us to. posted to supermoto also

found one from M.A.P. Engineering, not the one I was thinking though so I will still take suggestions.

I have the 320mm MAP Engineering one, and it's a really, really good brake with EBC MXS pads.

Do you (or anyone else)know if this is approximatly the same as putting the XR600 rotor on?

Do you use this setup in the dirt, if so how does it work?

Not at all like the 600 rotor. It's MUCH bigger. And I only ride on the street. I am actually in the middle of a supermoto conversion on the bike. But I think it would be WAY too much brake for the dirt.

So I read mention at another site the posibility of putting a XR600 front rotor. Is it bigger/any different?

The XR600 rotor is smaller than the XR650L rotor.
