Yz250f carb on a yz400f

Will a 2007 yz250f carb fit on a yz400f motor? I know the 250 uses a 37mm carb and the 400 uses a 39mm carb. But is the OD of the engine side of the carb the same on both carbs?

It should work but you gonna have a good time jetting it

Thats all i needed to know. I dont mind if its a bitch to jet cause this carb i found for only $50 and the cheapest FCR 39 i can find is $200

I'm not worried about a few horses up top because i ride almost always bottom to mid unless im on a straight away
