Kick start won't go down?

The lever won't go down on my yz450f. But the engines not siezed

open up the clutch cover or pop off that side of the case could be kick start gear, clutch basket, or something under there. How do you know the bike isn't seized

IIRC there are alignment dots on the kickstart shaft and quadrant (no4 in diagram) that need to be positioned a certain way.

Yes it is, I bought the bike and the casing behind the kickstart was cracked and the lever won't go down and the parts missing

Looking at at the damage in your other post, I would guess that the kick start assembly is also broken.
