Slip on or full system?

I have a 2008 Yz 450, and I was wondering, from anyone's experience, is the full system better on the 08 than just the slip on? I know that the header diameter was made bigger and the muffler smaller. Is the stock diameter header the same as aftermarket? Or is it worth it to get the header?
Basically just wondering of the slip on works just as good with the stock header as aftermarket.
Thanks

There's all kinds of discussion about that exact subject.

Much more if you search, but it all says about the same thing: stock sucks, slip-on is a big improvement, but the full system is noticeably better than that.
