WR 450 temp sensor - best location?

I'm installing coolant temp sensor on my 2012 today, and was wondering if it's best to take temp on the cool or warm side of the radiators.  On one hand, you're seeing the efficiency of the radiators, on the other you're seeing how hot the coolant is coming out of the engine.  Not sure what the standard is here.
