I have an 09 WR450F that I am making street legal and need to beef up the charging system as the stock is a bit too weak for good lighting.  All 3 of these sell a high output stator and regulator kit, Electrosport goes for $153, the others being a little higher.

Ricky is on TT and promptly answered a question about output.

Anybody used any of these?  Good or bad, I want to know before I buy.

I installed a Trail Tech on my KTM 250. It was easy to do and seemed to be good quality. Only have a few hours on the bike since, but so far so good.

Ricky Stator is the best Option

Just wondering what makes this the best option?

Well , it's the best option in the name of reliability and after sales service .

I have read of trail tech and electrosport failures , mainly Electrosport .

We've run some of Ricky's stators. 1 in a rmx &1 in my wr 426. No problems!
Besides he could use a little support from other members once in a while.
Hands down Ricky stator!

I have had trail techs in 2 bikes with no problems.

There is a threat that compares the output of a three for the wr450.

I have no experience with the other two, but have had numerous Ricky Stator products. ZERO complaints, had one stator fail and they promptly replaced it. customer service as it should be.

I'm running the Ricky stator in my 03. I wouldn't hesitate to use his product again.
