Will any other kickstart work on this bike. I bought an engine that does not have the kicker with it. Thanks

As long as the splines are the same and its around the same size, I'm guessing an 86 CR500 kicker work.

You have a beast of a bike there, btw.

A cr 500 kicker won't work, it folds the wrong way. I use a 2005 trx 450 kicker assembly on my 83 480.

Yep, the 82 CR480 kickstarter is on the left side.

So can I use a trx450r assembly and weld on the 480r kicker shaft?
