Hey guys, I'm not new to TT, but I'm new to the Yamaha side of the site. Last weekend I bought an 09 yz450f. I'm an offroad rider & run 2-3 HS a season. So, when I was looking for a new bike, I wanted to get an MX bike again, but had already been set up some for the woods. It is sprung & valved for 180# offroad rider, it has the Rekluse Z start pro, Hinson clutch basket, FMF 4.1 & mega bomb (which is off because of the Dr.D radiator lowering kit), FMF power up kit, Devol skid plate, radiator braces & a fresh top end. I paid $3k for it which was a fair price for the bike & goodies on it. I will add a ride report after this weekend & let you guys know what I think. The rekluse is what I'm most excited about because of the kind of riding we have here in the North Ga mountains. If anybody has any tips, suggestions or anything to add, please chime in. Anything y'all think I should know, let me know.

I will be adding a steering stabilizer, cycra bark busters, tugger strap, bump seat & some cosmetic stuff soon.

What year new style front fender & number plate can I put on?

What oil is everybody running with the Rekluse?

Thanks for taking a look...

I race an '06 equipped with a Reluse Z-Start Pro in the SoCal desert.  I run either Amsoil MCF 10w-40 or Mobil1 Racing 4T 10w-40 except for in the warmer 3-4 months of the year, when I go with MCV or V-Twin instead.  Excellent results.

Cycra makes a 10-14 style front fender that will fit your bike.  Along with the fender, I also bought the stadium style number plate for the 10-13 model and it fit my 2009.
