Anyone have a Harbor Freight motorcycle lift table ? I bought one today that someone took apart and I have been putting it back together. The parts brake down on their site isn't a very good pic. I'm looking for a good pic of the pump/ jack connections. .

Yep , that's the one.  I got it figured out.  Saw an ad on CL and right here in my town . They had it for working on wheel chairs but moved it with a hi-low and bent the pump shaft.

 

I was blinded by the $50 price and the bright red paint and bought it. Some bozo took the pump apart and lost some ball valves and springs. Ball bearings and a couple small springs and caps and I'm good, just no time.

Keep an eye out for the HF coupons and you can pick one up for $299.00!  It was the best money I have spent on my garage.  I've had mine for 2 years and had zero problems, and it allows me to work many hours straight.  I have six bikes and keeping them all up and running, plus doing pre- and post- race maintenance, is fun again.  My 68-year-old back thanks HF every time I use it.  

 

The only modification I made was to put U-bolts in the four corners of the platform so I could quickly hook up tie-downs.

Twiggy1, I recently bought a lift similar to that off of Craigslist. It's one heavy beast but works really good! Due to the weight, the shipping will most likely be spendy. ImageUploadedByThumper Talk1379167064.373769.jpg

Thankfully there is a store not far from my house, so I can go pick it up. Gonna give it a try. For $80 if it sucks I can just return it. I'm sick of hunching over to the height of a 5gal bucket to wrench on the bike.

''Hunched over''   LOL    That's the problem for sure. Im a carpenter and coming home and working on a bike is problematic so I went with the Harbor Freight lift table. I like the table so I can set tools down and not have to bend over for them.

I`m a carpenter as well, so I definitely feel your pain.... literally. The job is tough enough on the body, I don`t need more wear and tear through my hobbies. I have rugby for that!

I just bought one off eBay for $100, shipped to my house. Mine is without wheel, the wheels would be nice. $80 is a steal.

I still have to lift my xr400 a few inches to get it on the lift. The lift is wider, so lifting it on is harder. I am going to make two blocks. Roll the front wheel up a 3 inch ramp. Put the other block under the kickstand, slide the lift under it.

Working on the bike at eye level is nice. Now I need a stand for tools and parts.

The HF lift looks nice unless you want to remove the tires, wheels, forks, shock, or swing arm. And I didn't have space for it.

I got this one. Questioned the $ ( I paid $179 shipped) but man is it nice! And being able to move the bike around the garage when it's on the lift? really sweet.

The wheels would be nice! I'm thinking maybe I could use one of those "mobile base" units from HF to give mine the wheeled capability as well. They use them to roll around heavy table saws and such.

I bought a similar lift several years ago.  I roll the bike onto 1 1/2" thick boards then slid the lift under the bike.  Best investment I've made for working on the bike.

Agreed. As far as space saving goes, the little scissor lift really fits the bill. With that one, if I ever actually need the wheels on a hard surface while it's in the air, I just lower the front or rear tire onto a step ladder.
