2003 WR450F Engine Noise

Recommended Posts

I rebuilt my 2003 WR450's head, put new rings, put a TrailTech Stator, and put in a new Timing chain. All 45 Hours ago. Did Oil changes with filter change every 20 Hours with the two first being Lucas Oil, and I put Amsoil 10w40 synthetic in it for the last 4-5 hours. But it started making a weird noise that I hear from the clutch cover area. Any guesses before I tear it up?

Done. There is a little play, normal?

If the play is up/down, that is fine.

It it's side to side, allowing the basket to rotate 'out of round' then the bearing is shot and it needs to be replaced before it damages the case.

As soon as the bearing wears out, the basket starts to wobble like a child's top that is running out of 'spin'.

You have the camera constantly moving so there is no way to get any usable info from your video....
