2002 yamaha. Wr426f oil in the stator chamber?

Hello I was ready to replace the stator on my wr426f... And when I remove the stator case or chamber( I dunno the real name) all this oil came out!!! Is normal?

Hi there, I know this was a while ago, but could you tell me if you fixed the problem? I have the exact same thing and have no idea how to fix it!

This is completely normal - engine oil is present behind the stator cover


Only on a 2 stroke is the stator isolated from the engine oil
