I was I. Roseville yamaha and I think they had it tagged at $9040.00 Otd. I think I paid 9400 (ish) at PCP. I was so excited to get it I couldn't wait to write the check.
That was back at the end of June. I got he first one in the area and been loving ever since.

7900 here in DE. I'm friends with the guy that owns the shop so he gave me a great deal on it. And it was one of the first ones they had.

Good info...thx

Just received an email from Yamaha with a rebate of $200 for a new 14. Its for returning customers or something and has a specific to me code. Not exactly sure how its applied. A quick glance looks like it is not applied at purchase, but actually submitted after purchase.

Also been looking into the new Blu Crew program. My dealer told me its more than just contingency. It includes bike discounts and other perks.

You have to watch Yamaha's web site for free stuff, or you'll miss out.  The dealers won't always clue you into the program.  I bought my son's '06 new, and heard nothing about any such offers, but a fellow TT'er PM'd me the info sometime later, and shazam, a brand new Snap-On digital 3/8" torque wrench.  Price one out sometime.

Picked one up from Langston Racing. They really hooked me up. Before that, the best price I could find in So Cal was $8400 out the door. That was a shop in Harbor City.

I have yet to ride it as it is going to take me a while to prep to ride.

Not allowed to disclose final deal, but since the other SoCal dealers were at $8400 out the door...... My deal had other factors involved due to the BluCru. Also, i had the $200 rebate emailed to me from Yamaha.

Not to be nosey but can I ask what in the world you guys do for a living to have this kind of of disposable cash? Id kill to be able to drop that kind of money on a new bike. I make > 60k a year and no way could I do that.

I work in oil and chemical refineries. Pipefitters and welders make over 100k/ year if you want to put in the hours.

All you out of staters remember in California nearly 10 percent is added to the final price for sales tax. I would thing anyone getting around 8k is getting a decent deal on a just released bike.

I got mine by trading my fully costum 13 crf450 but he quoted me at 7800 before I offered the trade. I also had to throw in all stock parts and about 1200 with the CRF
