hey all, i have just completed a full rebuild on my 06 wr450, i have fitted new cams & springs and the have been cleared to the spec in manual, also a new cam chain has been fitted. my question is, once started for the first time the top end sounded rattly e.g. cam-valve noise. is this normal and should i expect it to settle down once the bike is broken in?

What did the valves measure?  did you make sure to seat the shims all the way?  is the auto decomp stuck?  cam chain tensioner working properly?

They are ticky motors, but they aren't that bad.  A video clip would help identify...
