yeah i figured , does the 05 have it also? im gonna have to drive out about 2 hours to see a bike, soo im trying to narrow down what bike to look at, and i think i like the steel framed 05-06 but not sure if the 05 has the digital trip meter... i like the aluminum frame 07 but the price seems to jump drasticly for on of those

I have ridden a few bikes with it and its not all that great. The one on my 06 was dead when I got it. I put on a vapor and used the stock wiring as an "on switch" for eastern beaver fuse block.

I have owned a 05 and an 06.The only thing the 06 has better is the triple clamps have removable bar risers and it comes with the newer 06-09 style front yz fender. The other nice thing about the 06 is the brackets for the stock speedo (once the speedo is taken out) is great for mounting dual sport stuff such as flasher relay, ruse block relay and the fuse block itself.

Since you are in CA you should skip the 03-04 red sticker bikes.

I picket up my 06 in nov last year for 2700 I think. It had the stock tires on it still. Bike looks brand new.

I paid 3500 for my 05 a few years before but it was plated and kinda beat to shit.

Expect to pay over 1000 more a plated bike in similar condition.

nice ! yeah im really going to snap at a good deal on a 06 when it comes up, and it has to be one of those bike that are all stock with the stock tires that was garaged for all those years barely used, theyre out there just gotta wait for them, yeah the red sticker green sticker doesn matter that much the only riding i do is in baja so that doesnt matter luckily hehe., thank you for your time and advice i apprecitate it
