I have a 2002 YZ426F and need to replace the exhaust pipe. Anyone know if earlier stock model exhaust pipes will fit, ie. 2000 YZ400F or 2001 YZ426F? Thanks.

Don't you mean a 2000 yz426 or a 2001. 99' was the last YZ400F. Anyway - yes they fit.

oops, yes. And, what about the 1999 YZ400F exhaust silencer? Is it compatible with the 426's?

Thanks.

Remember, on 2000 models, the exhaust header had to be removed to change the filter.

I would look for a 01-02 header to save some hassle.

Don't know about the compatability of silencers though.
