I know I know, it's been covered a million times, not asking what the "best" oil to use is, rather, this is simply a poll: What oil do you use in your Z?

I'll start, I have used castrol semi synthetic 10-40, regular 20-50 castrol, and suzuki brand oil. For the past 2,000 miles (2 oil changes) I have been running Motul full synthetic 300v 15-50, it's expensive as shit but seems to have the smoothest shifting than the others I have tried and it smells like bananas

Mobil 1 motorcycle specific full synthetic oil,   10w-40 in the winter,   20w-50 in the summer.

I get it at Walmart,  for $9.99 a quart,  change the oil every 1K miles,  2 quarts and a new Hi-flo filter.



Edit,  i just noticed the  ''one oil thread to rule them all'',   lol,  nice,     LOTR  was great.

Lucas 10w-50 full synthetic motorcycle oil, Wix filter every 1000 miles.

i used maxima 10w40 before but now i use maxima 20w50.

what weight? i got like 3/4 of a gallon of 15 40 from when i had my xs, that i thought i couldnt use anymore...
